STANDING UP AGAINST HOMELESSNES

We support individuals in Baltimore
and surrounding areas who are experiencing homelessness by facilitating access to essential goods and services.

OUR CORE MISSIONS
We are dedicated to fostering community well-being and providing pathways out of homelessness through education, volunteerism, and advocacy.
Community Well-being
01
We alleviate hardships and foster holistic well-being for those experiencing homelessness.
Public Education
02
We collaborate with schools to educate the public about the challenges faced by our community.
Volunteerism
03
We engage with schools and broader community initiatives to support our vulnerable population.
Healthcare Access
04
We encourage access to healthcare and subsidized housing for those experiencing homelessness.

The Roots of Our Mission
Rajan, Henry and Paula began working with Mary-Catherine, their 1st Grade teacher, on service initiatives when they were still in the fourth grade. They added Lexi and grew Youth Take a Stand in Baltimore into a high school club. Now it is a the 501(c)(3) non-profit with the aim of helping those experiencing homelessness in Baltimore.Â
Our Partnerships
We are deeply grateful to Mary-Catherine who inspired us and to the invaluable partnerships who have supported our mission over the years. We are thankful for Karma for Cara, who has supplied us microgrants to support our service projects, Healthcare for the Homeless, who has provided a great way to reach those experiencing homelessness, and our classmates who have volunteered backpacks and their time to assemble kits and sandwiches for our service projects.
